The latest news out of Germany is that Van Gogh did not cut off his ear himself. Rather, Paul Gauguin did it with a sword, and then the two of them made up a story to tell the police. The BBC tells the story here.

beside the weird thing, is it possible to cut a person's ear like that? he's man, too, i mean physically similar strength like the banker, if someone even friend, or very close one, i don't think people just let a crazy person cuts off their ears..
maybe he drunk. so stupid. anyway i don't like the banker's painting.
